Christmas 2015 (Part II - Sunday)

Sunday, 20 December. Morning came early for those of us with jet lag. At 6:02a we messaged Kira to come on over from her apartment for our “Christmas Morning” activities. We just pretended it was Christmas day for the family. We opened presents from each other and had our traditional pork tenderloin and stuffed French toast breakfast. For more pictures see Vanessa’s Christmas blog at  http://thesctureks.blogspot.com/.

Church was at 9am. Since PB&J were singing in their ward choir, and Kira was singing in her ward choir, we had to split up for sacrament meeting. I went with Kira (Valley View 3rd Ward), JoAnne went with PB&J (Brighton 6th Ward).

After church we went out for another snowball fight and a little attempted tubing. I say attempted because although there was a lot of snow on the ground, and it was snowing at the time, there wasn’t enough fresh snow for the tube we were using to slide very well. But we had a good time anyway.

That afternoon, we all went to a nearby park for family pictures. Peter’s cousin was the primary photographer, but Kira, Jessi, and I had our cameras out. There are literally hundreds of pictures to choose from so I am going to coward out and just show this auto-generated collage. Again, see Vanessa's blog for many more.
After the picture session we went back to PB&J House to make and decorate cookies.
